These are local league opportunities or players in the D.C. Metro Area. These are not endorsement, but provided as a resource to all players and coaches in the Northern Virginia area. League organizers wishing to be added should contact WFBC.
Cardinal Summer and Fall Leagues The Cardinal AAU organization conducts leagues in the summer and fall. Game venues will typically be at Mt. Vernon HS. AAU competition rules usually apply (www.cardinalaaubasketball.com). Fairfax County Youth Basketball League The Fairfax County Youth Basketball League is a not-for-profit organization comprised of registered member youth clubs and recreation centers. It exists to enable the youth of its member organizations to learn, grow, and develop skills via basketball competition by playing on their neighborhood teams. The main objective of the league is to promote sportsmanship, integrity, and fairness that serves the best interests of the overall majority of the children who participate in its program (www.fcybl.org). Mid Atlantic Girls National Basketball League The Mid Atlantic Girls National Basketball League (MAGNBL) hosts a winter league in the Washington Metro area. It will be a Stop Clock league and will also have playoffs and an All Star game for all ages. MAGNBL will play in different gyms throughout the metro area (www.MaGnBL.com) Team Sol Winter League Team Sol hosts an annual Winter League in the Washington, DC area. This league will host school teams: Grades 3 - 8. Season runs December - March (www.teamsolbasketball.com). |
